In this role, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of applications. You will oversee the full application lifecycle and support stable, secure, and compliant system environments. The position combines hands-on technical work with stakeholder collaboration in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as the primary contact for business stakeholders and translate requirements into effective IT solutions
  • Manage the full lifecycle of applications including implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization
  • Ensure applications are secure, compliant, and aligned with internal governance standards
  • Coordinate integration with other systems and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and external vendors
  • Maintain system stability and support daily operational activities
  • Contribute to IT projects and ensure delivery aligns with defined standards and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing existing systems and exploring new technologies
  • Create and maintain accurate system documentation and ensure it is regularly updated

Candidate Profile

  • Strong experience in application management and IT system engineering (5–10 years)
  • Solid understanding of system architecture and application lifecycle management
  • Hands-on experience with application configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, databases, and security principles
  • Experience working in regulated environments is an advantage (e.g. GxP)
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured, solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment
  • Fluent in English and German
