In this role, you will take overall responsibility for the quality function within a regulated manufacturing environment. You will ensure compliance with applicable standards while leading and developing the quality organization. The position combines strategic oversight with operational excellence across all quality-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall quality function, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Systems
  • Ensure compliance with applicable GMP regulations and other relevant quality standards
  • Define, implement, and continuously improve the company’s quality strategy and quality management system
  • Act as the main point of contact for health authorities, audits, and inspections
  • Oversee and ensure effective handling of deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and risk management processes
  • Ensure inspection readiness at all times and lead internal and external audits
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments such as production, engineering, and regulatory functions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance and operational efficiency
  • Establish, monitor, and report on quality KPIs to support business objectives
  • Lead, coach, and develop the quality team, fostering a strong quality culture across the organization
  • Support business growth by ensuring quality standards are aligned with customer and regulatory expectations
  • Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and partners

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in quality roles within a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
  • Proven leadership experience with responsibility for teams and cross-functional collaboratio
  • Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and quality management systems
  • Experience with audits, inspections, and interactions with regulatory authorities
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a structured and independent manner while managing multiple priorities
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage
