In this role, you will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, acquiring clients, and managing customer relationships within a CDMO/CMO environment.

Place of Work: Zurich region 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with prospective clients in the Life Sciences sector

  • Proactively approach and acquire new customers 

  • Manage and expand relationships with existing clients

  • Evaluate new project opportunities in collaboration with technical teams

  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, offers, and contracts

  • Support pricing discussions and contribute to commercial negotiations

  • Plan and conduct customer meetings, including follow-up and CRM documentation

  • Represent the company at international trade fairs, conferences, and industry events

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities

  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and sales materials

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field

  • Initial to several years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within Life Sciences

  • Experience in CDMO/CMO or selling complex technical services is a strong advantage

  • Strong customer orientation with a proactive and results-driven mindset

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to understand and communicate scientific and technical concepts

  • Structured and independent working style

  • Fluent in German and English 

  • Willingness to travel
