In this role, you act as the analytical bridge between commercial teams and data-driven decision-making. You translate complex patient, market, and sales data into clear insights that support the commercialization of rare disease therapies. Through dashboards, forecasting models, and strategic analyses, you help guide leadership decisions across hematology-oncology and nephrology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation of recurring sales reports and performance analyses for senior management and sales leadership
  • Design, development, and maintenance of interactive executive dashboards using Power BI or similar tools
  • Analysis of patient, prescriber, and market data to uncover trends, growth opportunities, and optimization levers
  • Tracking and reporting of rare-disease-specific indicators such as patient identification, HCP engagement, and center performance
  • Execution of in-depth territory analyses based on prevalence data, treatment centers, and healthcare provider networks
  • Identification of high-impact treatment centers and key specialists for focused engagement strategies
  • Development of cycle plans and territory dossiers including patient flow maps, diagnosis rates, and access hurdles
  • Support of territory optimization strategies considering geographically dispersed patient populations
  • Development and ongoing refinement of demand forecasts using epidemiology data and launch timelines
  • Improvement of inventory management approaches aligned with specialty pharmacy distribution and patient clusters
  • Monitoring of stock levels, near-expiry products, and patient distribution patterns
  • Close coordination with supply chain, finance, and commercial teams to ensure aligned planning
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partnership with general management and sales leadership to define analytical priorities and business needs
  • Presentation of complex analyses and strategic recommendations to leadership and cross-functional committees
  • Collaboration with medical affairs, marketing, and sales teams to generate market intelligence

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, life sciences, or a related field
  • Three to five years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a comparable analytical role
  • Background in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or healthcare analytics is required
  • Exposure to rare diseases or specialty pharma environments is an advantage
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, and VBA
  • Strong SQL knowledge for data querying and extraction
  • Proven experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboarding tools
  • Ability to visualize complex datasets clearly for senior management audiences
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Veeva CRM or Salesforce
  • Programming skills in Python or R for advanced analytics
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or comparable platforms
  • Experience with tools such as MS Visio, MS Project, or QlikSense
  • Understanding of commercial operations and market dynamics in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of rare disease ecosystems including patient identification, specialty pharmacies, centers of excellence, and diagnostic pathways
  • Basic understanding of market access, health economics, and payer environments
  • Familiarity with KPIs related to sales performance, forecasting, territory planning, and inventory management
