In this role, you will manage and grow key customer relationships across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland while driving new business opportunities. You will act as a trusted commercial partner, identifying market needs and translating them into tailored solutions. The position combines strategic account management with hands-on sales activities and market insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and expanding existing customer relationships across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
  • Driving new business development and overseeing the full acquisition cycle from first contact to contract closure
  • Conducting market and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and trends within the customer landscape
  • Assessing client requirements and developing tailored commercial concepts
  • Supporting budget planning and contributing to sales forecasts
  • Representing the company at industry events, trade fairs, and client meetings
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and contacts within the CRM system (Salesforce)

Candidate Profile

  • Commercial or scientific background with further training in sales; university degree is an advantage
  • Several years of experience in B2B sales or project management within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
  • Established network within the DACH customer landscape is desirable
  • Open-minded, motivated personality with strong learning agility and drive
  • Excellent customer orientation with strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Proficiancy in German and English
  • Willingness to travel approx. 30–40% within the DACH region
