In this role, you will drive the development and upkeep of comprehensive operational readiness schedules for large-scale programs, closely partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. You will coordinate workload planning, maintain integrated timelines, and lead schedule-focused meetings with key operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, maintain and update integrated project schedules to ensure alignment across all workstreams and synchronization with CAPEX-related interface milestones
  • Lead project scheduling sessions and interactive planning workshops with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in risk meetings and support assessments of major risks and potential impacts
  • Build and maintain progress reporting tools, dashboards and tracking systems
    Coordinate workshops to gather input from operational workstreams and align schedules with the CAPEX scheduler
  • Perform resource and workload planning for internal and external teams to meet key milestones
  • Review schedules regularly with project stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate updates
  • Prepare periodic schedule reports, trend overviews and analytical summaries
  • Monitor deviations, identify root causes and support corrective action planning while escalating risks as required
  • Lead E2E schedule governance for operational readiness, including workload updates across quality, operations, engineering and support functions
  • Support additional project-related tasks beyond scheduling where needed

Candidate Profile

 

  • Full autonomy in Primavera P6; strong proficiency in Excel and other project management tools
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, including operational start-up and/or large capital project planning
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical operations and GMP manufacturing environments
  • Excellent command of English; German language skills are an advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to work through complex datasets and support decision-making
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional groups
  • Able to handle shifting priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge stakeholders constructively
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to lead meetings and guide teams toward realistic schedules
  • Experience developing detailed plans down to task level and applying robust project methodology
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
