In this role, you will partner with global process owners and cross-functional teams to design and deliver SAP EWM-based solutions for our own warehouse operations. You’ll translate business needs into workable system designs, drive end-to-end implementation activities, and ensure successful go-lives and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Business Solution Manager for Logistics W&D own warehouse, collaborating with Global Process Owners, Business Champions, Functional IT Experts, and the LDC Adopt counterpart
  • Elaborate deliverables aligned with the project plan during conceptual design, build, and adopt phases
  • Ensure proper solution design for setting up and integrating own warehouses in upcoming LDC releases
  • Establish or update business standard operating procedures
  • Review and adapt training material and working instructions if needed
  • Conduct business screening of IT solutions and testing of the solution(s)
  • Support data migration activities within Logistics W&D own warehouse area
  • Align and agree on the integration of relevant processes and system solutions within Logistics W&D (e.g., commercial operations, Intercompany Order Management, Direct Procurement)
  • Ensure user requirements and functional specifications reflect global/local processes
  • Contribute to master data preparation for screening, testing, and cutover
  • Support the adopt team to ensure a smooth go-live for upcoming releases
  • Secure business reporting requirements in Logistics W&D with the Reporting and Analytics team
  • Verify the existing core model for own warehouse based on SAP EWM with the Global BMP and propose areas for improvement
  • Follow up on cross-functional topics (e.g., staging with manufacturing) and propose aligned design solutions
  • Take on project tasks in conceptual design, build, UAT testing, training, cutover, and hyper-care as needed within the team

Candidate Profile

  • Several years of experience in supply chain logistics within own warehouse operations, ideally in a manufacturing/pharma context
  • Extensive experience with SAP implementation projects and SAP EWM deployments, including team leadership
  • Strong track record in designing and validating own warehouse setups, translating process requirements into workable solutions
  • Fast learner with a proactive, forward-thinking mindset
  • Experience integrating with manufacturing execution processes and systems (e.g., MES)
  • Ability to meet tight timelines in a fast-paced project environment
  • Demonstrated leadership, with the ability to guide and advise the team
  • Independent, structured, and meticulous work style
  • Positive, proactive attitude and flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Strong teamwork and quality orientation
  • Comfortable operating in a global matrix organization
  • Skilled at moderating workshops with business champions and challenging requirements when needed
