In this role, you will serve as a hands-on SAP Production Master Data Architect, supporting process design, data management, and governance within the supply chain. You will drive improvements in master data quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate across functions to maintain data integrity. The position combines strategic thinking with operational execution to optimize master data processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead projects aimed at optimizing master data processes and architecture for sustainable improvements throughout the data lifecycle
Support the Master Data team in creating and maintaining accurate production master data, especially during onboarding phases
Ensure the correctness and regulatory compliance of production master data elements such as recipes, BOMs, and production versions
Collaborate with quality, supply chain, procurement, and production teams to ensure data consistency, integrity, and traceability
Manage documentation related to materials, including quality records, supplier info, and distribution data
Promote adherence to data governance standards and raise awareness of data quality and accountability within the organization

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Extensive experience with SAP Production Master Data, particularly in material master creation and data architecture
Strong understanding of material types, recipes, BOMs, and production version management
Proven success in leading process improvement and data transformation initiatives
Experience managing documentation for materials across quality, supplier, and distribution domains
Preferably has exposure to highly regulated environments such as pharma
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
