In this role, you will be responsible for expanding the market presence of innovative healthcare products within Switzerland. You will develop and execute sales strategies, build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Your efforts will directly contribute to increasing product visibility and driving revenue growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement targeted sales plans to meet or surpass revenue goals and increase market share across Switzerland
  • Engage with healthcare providers such as physicians, specialists, and pharmacists through regular visits and scientific discussions to promote products
  • Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with opinion leaders, prescribers, and pharmacies, positioning yourself as a trusted partner and representative of the brand
  • Ensure strict adherence to Swissmedic regulations, the Federal Act on Medicinal Products and Medical Devices (HMG), and industry codes of conduct governing promotional activities
  • Track competitor actions and market trends, providing insights to inform pricing strategies, positioning, and marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and management to align commercial initiatives with operational goals
  • Maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts, and actively participate in business reviews and strategic planning sessions
  • When necessary, support logistics at pharmacy level to ensure consistent product availability and collaborate with wholesalers to optimize supply chain processes

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience within Switzerland
  • Deep knowledge of Swissmedic regulations concerning pharmaceutical promotion, sales, and ethical standards
  • A proactive, organized individual capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Switzerland
  • Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation
  • Languages: Fluent in German & English, French proficiency 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the respiratory field
  • Experience with launching new medicinal products or working within the generics sector in Switzerland
  • Medical representative certification is advantageous
