In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the clinical trial services sector and building strategic partnerships. Your efforts will contribute to expanding our client base across Switzerland and internationally. You will play a key part in managing our CRM system, ensuring our client database remains current to support sustained growth and success.

Duration: 3 Months (possibility for permanent position)

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in clinical trial services both within Switzerland and internationally
  • Engage with biotech, pharmaceutical, and healthcare organizations to promote and sell our offerings
  • Implement and manage a CRM system to monitor leads, facilitate client interactions, and support market intelligence activities
  • Keep the client database updated regularly to ensure accurate and comprehensive information
  • Assist in creating marketing materials and tailored client proposals
  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators, client feedback, and market or competitor developments
  • Participate in industry conferences and networking events as needed to increase visibility and establish a strong presence

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the clinical research, CRO, or life sciences sector
  • In-depth understanding of the clinical trials landscape in Switzerland, including regulatory and operational considerations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, commercially driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to follow through on tasks
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (or demonstrated capacity to implement one), MS Office, and digital collaboration tools
  • Languages: Fluent in French & English

Nice to Have

  • Existing network of clients in the Swiss or international clinical trials market (biotech or pharma companies)
  • A proven track record of sales success within the CRO industry
  • Additional language skills, such as German, would be advantageous
